We take your privacy seriously, no corporate nonsense here
Last Updated: November 5, 2025
Look, we get it - nobody actually reads these things. But since you're here, we'll keep it real with you. We're just a local auto shop trying to fix European and luxury cars without making things complicated. Your info stays with us, period.
When you book an appointment or reach out to us, we'll need some basics:
We're not selling your data to random companies or sending you junk mail. Here's what we DO use it for:
Scheduling appointments, sending reminders, updating you on repairs - the actual important things.
Maintaining your service history so we don't forget that tricky issue from last year.
Maybe a heads-up about seasonal maintenance or a special deal - nothing annoying, promise.
Y'know, warranty claims, insurance things, the boring but necessary paperwork.
We're not some Silicon Valley tech giant, but we take security seriously. Your info's stored on secure servers, encrypted where it matters, and only our staff can access it - not even our detailing guy Steve has full access (sorry Steve).
We use industry-standard SSL encryption for online transactions and our systems are regularly updated. If there's ever a breach (knock on wood), you'll hear from us immediately, not months later.
We're not in the business of selling your data. The only time your info leaves our shop:
That's it. No marketing companies, no data brokers, no shady third parties.
Our website uses cookies - those little data files, not the chocolate chip kind (though we've got those in the waiting room). They help the site remember you so you don't have to fill out the same form fifty times.
You can disable cookies in your browser if you want, but it might make booking appointments a pain. We only use essential cookies and basic analytics - nothing creepy that follows you around the internet.
This is YOUR data. Here's what you can do with it:
Access: Wanna see what we've got on file? Just ask.
Correction: Something wrong? We'll fix it ASAP.
Deletion: Want us to forget you? We can do that (we'll be sad though).
Opt-out: Don't wanna hear from us? Unsubscribe anytime.
Just shoot us an email at service@obsidrixodyssey.info or give us a call.
We keep your service records for 7 years (Canadian tax law thing), but your contact info? We'll keep it as long as you're a customer. Stop coming around for a few years and we might reach out to make sure you didn't abandon your Porsche somewhere.
If you explicitly ask us to delete everything, we'll wipe it all except what the law says we gotta keep for accounting purposes.
Sometimes we'll link to parts manufacturers or other resources. Once you click away from our site, you're on your own - we can't control their privacy practices. Read their policies if you're worried (or just be generally careful on the internet).
If we need to update this policy, we'll post the changes here and update the date at the top. Major changes? We'll send you an email. We're not gonna pull any sneaky stuff - if our privacy practices change, you'll know about it.
Got concerns? Confused about something? Just wanna chat about data privacy over a cup of coffee? We're here for it.
Reach out: Call us at (416) 555-0847 or email service@obsidrixodyssey.info. We actually respond, unlike those automated corporate email addresses that go nowhere.
We're a local shop that fixes fancy European cars. Your privacy matters to us because you're not just a transaction - you're a customer we hope to see again. We'll protect your info like we'd protect your keys while your Audi's in our bay. Simple as that.
Got a breakdown or emergency repair situation? We've got you covered.
